Our Story
DJ House
Some years ago, I broke my leg in a snowboarding accident. Still being unable to dance by my next birthday was devastating. But shortly afterward, an opportunity came along to DJ a free outdoor Latin dance social—and before long, it became a weekly event.
Other recurring Latin dance socials followed, and I discovered a new way to connect with the music I loved. Even more importantly, DJing became intertwined with something that had always drawn me to social dancing: bringing people together. Those connections—formed through music, movement, and shared experiences—are what build community.
And, staying true to my flyboy roots, Dr. House became DJ House.
Dancing House Entertainment
Fast forward a few years. After a move to Colorado Springs, I found a wonderful and growing Latin dance community—and new opportunities to DJ, host events, and help create the kinds of experiences that bring people together.
From that, Dancing House Entertainment emerged.
The name reflects what we want every event to be about:
Dancing — At the heart of what we do is connection: connection with others, with the music, and with the moment.
House — When an atmosphere feels like home, we can be more authentic. That authenticity makes our connections more meaningful—and those connections are what build and strengthen community.
Entertainment — Curated experiences where music, movement, and connection come together to create shared memories.
